What is missing here

Nothing pending. Add a question, a piece of evidence or derive from it.

We are looking for working approaches, not slides: a robot that calls an elevator, boards it and leaves on the right floor without an integration contract with the elevator vendor. Retrofits, relays, computer vision, human-in-the-loop hand-offs: everything is welcome as long as it is documented and repeatable.

The problem

Robots cannot move between floors without an elevator integration the vendors will not sign.

Expected result

A documented, repeatable procedure with a video and a bill of materials.

Criteria

Safety, repeatability, cost under BRL 15,000, no structural retrofit.

Who can take part
Anyone: teams, labs, students, vendors.
Deadline
Dec 15, 2026
Reward
BRL 20,000 and a pilot slot at Hospital Novo Horizonte.
